Bridge and Tunnel Review

So the guy who was reverse-engineering Howard's technology also works for Howard's rival. The two major possibilities are corporate espionage or that both firms are being targeted. Corporate espionage doesn't seem like a plot line for a superhero show, so I'm guessing that Leviathan has infiltrated both Stark Industries and Roxxon. They're probably trying to steal weapons technology to either take over the world or sell on the black market. I think it would be cool if there were some sort of Hydra connection, but the writers would have to find a way for the SSR to take down Leviathan without revealing Hydra's influence. The simplest way to do that be to have Dooley be a member of Hydra and cover it up.

Dooley and the others now know that some woman is involved with this ordeal. They don't know it's Peggy, but it's only a matter of time before someone at the SSR works it out. My guess is that Sousa is going to either get suspicious of Peggy and work it out or find the hidden pictures and learn it's her. I don't think he'll squeal right away, but he'll definitely force Peggy to tell him everything and try to get involved himself, whether or not she wants the help. Either that, or they figure it out and Peggy has to spend the rest of the season on the lamb.

Brannis said that Leviathan only wanted one thing from Howard's vault. So far, we've only been focusing on the molecular nitramine, but what else is in there? I suspect the Tessaract is locked in an SSR vault somewhere, but perhaps Howard stored it there since it was a more secure location. If it is the Tessaract they were after, maybe they're experimenting on infinity stones and this is going to lead into the reveal of the fifth one. Maybe the stone is revealed in the season finale, Coulson's team begins dealing with it when Agents of SHIELD starts up again.
