Now is Not the End Review

When I first saw a yellow glow emanating from that safe, my mind immediately jumped to infinity stone. Those seem to be the main plotline for Marvel movies nowadays, so I figured it would be the yellow one (which I believe ties into next year's Doctor Strange). Unfortunately, it just turned out to be a glowing yellow implosive.

Peggy claims she had no connection to the apartment she was staying at because her name wasn't on the lease. However, the SSR ought to have a mailing address on file for her since she does work there. So unless she has a PO box set up, they should easily be able to tell that's her place. On top of that, her fingerprints would be all over the furniture and appliances and they surely have hers on file.

That last scene in the episode where Jarvis tells Howard that Peggy won't suspect a thing is clearly meant to be suspicious. What exactly is Howard up to? Surely he didn't fence the weapons to the black market himself. Not unless he was trying to catch a weapons smuggler or something, but there are far easier ways of the doing that. Maybe he was ferreting out a mole in his organization or the SSR. Alternatively, maybe there's another Mr. Stark, like a secret brother or something. Maybe Tony invents time travel and goes back to the 1940s.

Leviathan is almost certainly the main villain for at least the rest of the season. The producers said a while ago that each season is supposed to be about a different case for Peggy. That could mean that each case will see a different villain. It could also mean that each season reveals a different layer of conspiracy about Leviathan before its finally defeated in a few seasons. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Leviathan from the comic books, so I can't speculate on how big a role they'll be playing.
